ORN SYN HYD005 ISO 5

ORN SYN Hydraulic ISO 5 is a mineral-based hydraulic oil formulated to meet the performance requirements of a wide range of hydraulic equipment. The formulation contains anti-wear, antioxidant, anti-corrosion, and anti-foam additives to support reliable operation and equipment protection under demanding service conditions.

  • Hydraulic systems operating under high pressures, elevated temperatures, or variable speeds.
  • Suitable for hydraulic equipment such as Vickers, Gerotor, Gresen, HPM, Denison, Cessna, Hydreco, and Worthington systems.
  • May also be used for workshop equipment, reduction gears, bearings, compressed air systems, and rotary screw air compressors where this viscosity grade is specified.
  • Anti-wear and oxidation stability: helps protect components and oil condition.
  • Anti-foam properties: supports consistent hydraulic response and efficient operation.
  • Temperature stability: maintains appropriate viscosity characteristics across normal operating conditions.

Environmental Benefits

  • Long service life can help reduce lubricant consumption and waste generation.
  • Oxidation-resistant formulation supports extended oil life under normal operating conditions.
  • Effective anti-wear protection may help extend equipment component life, reducing maintenance-related waste.
  • Stable performance may contribute to efficient hydraulic system operation.
  • Suitable for collection through standard used-oil recovery or recycling routes where local regulations permit.
  • Foam control characteristics can help minimise fluid losses from aeration and overflow.
Environmental Note
Used oil should be collected, stored, and disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations. Prevent release into soil, drains, waterways, and groundwater.

Safety Precautions

Important
Read the latest Safety Data Sheet before use. The information below is general guidance for safe handling of lubricant products and does not replace the SDS.

Handling

  • Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Wear suitable protective gloves when handling lubricant products.
  • Use safety glasses or goggles where splashing may occur.
  • Wear appropriate work clothing to minimise skin exposure.

Storage

  • Store in original, tightly closed containers.
  • Keep in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
  • Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sources of ignition.
  • Prevent contamination by water, dust, or foreign materials.

Spill Response

  • Contain spills immediately to prevent environmental contamination.
  • Absorb spilled product using suitable inert absorbent material.
  • Dispose of recovered material in accordance with local regulations.
  • Clean affected surfaces thoroughly because spilled oil can create slip hazards.

First Aid Measures

  • Skin contact: wash with soap and water.
  • Eye contact: rinse with clean water for several minutes and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • Inhalation: move to fresh air if exposed to oil mist.
  • Ingestion: do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice promptly.
