Petrovöll HEAT TRANSFER is a premium oil formulated using selected and highly refined petroleum base stocks. It provides good heat transfer efficiency with better resistance to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. It has high specific heat and good thermal conductivity, which provide more rapid heating & greater system flexibility. It also offers very good thermal stability at bulk fluid temperatures up to 260°C and maximum heater skin temperature of 280°C.
Can be used in open & closed systems in line with respective bulk oil temperature. Petrovoll Heat Transfer Oil is not recommended to be mixed with other oils as it may weaken the thermal resistance and oxidation stability, which may cause a change in other properties, affecting the oil’s useful life.
